U.S. Supreme Court denies review for a woman who sued a school district for the right to read the Bible to her son's Kindergarden class. Solar powered talking Bibles sent to Haiti. Taking God out of a school district mission statement. Religious criteria for joining the Egyptian soccer team. More ultra-orthodox madness in Israel. An email. And much, much more. Comments[5] |
Hi, I'm just listening to the podcast and I paused it right after the sun powered bible(SPB) piece.
The claim that the SPB works on the moon could very well be correct. First of all, if you use it on the moon, presumably you would be alive and therefor brought with you air to breathe. This air also will be used for your ears. So then to use the SPB you would just use it within your moon lander cabin, or where ever you're not directly in a moonwalk suit.
This also fixes another problem. Sure this thing is sun powered, but on the earth the sun is filtered by several kilometers of atmosphere. I would not recommend submitting standard electronic devices to the unfiltered sun as on the moon it is capable of raising the temperature of the ground to 200 degrees celsius. I do not think this device was tested under such conditions. Keep up the good work, and I actually love all your co-hosts.

The blog post where I call Jayme an actual woman and accuse her of not having a sausage is here:

I also apologize to her here:

(I believe that's my second apology to Jayme, the first was apologizing to her on behalf of all Canadians for the crap she experience with immigration. Apologizing is a very Canadian thing.)
